This app never works how it’s supposed to and I get a message saying the account doesn’t exist when I send email to support. why have an app if it doesn’t work correctly???? You would think after all the bad reviews ALWIN would do something … Your best bet is hoping you’ll get the email and be able to download it from there. This app is the worst

App is constantly breaking down with errors. Lately you can’t even see the whole gif because they’ve all been converted to portrait mode. Also, videos are no longer able to be downloaded.

Every time I try to register it says “something went wrong” and I can’t progress.

I love this app!! Creating fun memories everywhere I go!

I love this app. It’s fun to see what’s happening all around the country. And I love that I only have to type my user name into a Hotpoint to get the videos emailed to me! Saves me a lot of time when I’m just trying to party and get cute pics.

I downloaded this app bc I was attending a ton of events that had this. Its super cute and easy to use! There really is an art to posing for this, I find myself challenging the last video I made — I’m basically a pro now.

I see HotPoint units at venues all over the country! Super cool concept that is executed in a fun fashion.

Originally just wanted to get the video we took at a venue but as soon as i got the app and opened it—nothing works, no content appears. I dont think this app is where it needs to be.

My experience on the app thus far has been watching it load for minutes at a time and nothing ever coming up... very frustrating as I wanted to see the videos we took at Barcadia in New Orleans.

The app doesn't even open or work past the sign up.

The answer is WRONG. If you can even get the app to work, let alone find your vids, you should by a lottery ticket. Useless.

This would be a cool idea.... if the video was actually sent to you when they collect your email, and if the videos you take would actually be searchable in the app... or maybe if the app fixes the fact that it’s riddled with error messages...

Just moved to LA and love using it to discover new places. Easy to use and navigate.

Such a fun app, I love being able to see live feeds of what’s going on at the best venues everywhere. Also super well designed and user friendly, SO happy I discovered!!

I created an account through the super not-user friendly platform to access 2 videos. I then later wanted to delete my account, as the videos are public and I do not want them associated with my name. THERE IS NO WAY TO DELETE THE ACCOUNT. I emailed their “customer service” account twice and both emails went ignored.

Forbidden failed. Can't save videos. I received the email notification that the video was ready over 1 month after we took the video. These should be made so that we can save them. Non-saveable. Only way to access is through an app that is uninstallable!!!

Can’t save anything...so what’s the point...

It's a big disappointment that you cannot share or download the videos, makes this app useless completely

There is no way to save a video or GIF from the app. It says it saves to your phone, but there is no file after.

Unable to "finish" signing up. I receive the above error 😞

The UI, UX, app overall is poorly designed and buggy... delete

No camera or video option to take a shoot

This app is well intentioned, but its implementation is trash. It forces a huge watermark in your face. I'm fine with the location watermark/logo as long as you can move it somewhere outside what you recorded. Otherwise, why post the video? :/

I recorded my self several times at a venue and only received two emails. I was not able to view the video until I downloaded the app. I cannot even save the actual video. Every time is saves, it's a 4 second video of "Have you seen wizard... Take photo here".

Hotpoint is plagued with a myriad of issues making it completely non-functional. If you do not give it location access the app crashes when you try to open the maps section. No matter what you do you cannot save a video out of the app (it crashes when you try). Even when you try to share the video, the link is broken and cannot find the content. Literally the only way for you to view your videos is in the app and the best sharing you're going to get is physically sending your phone to the people you'd like to share with. Absolutely inconsiderate, untested app design that shows a true lack of passion.

Vanity of vanities... Hotpoint is a fine example of an app when it's the opposite of Facebook, Snapchat or Instagram. This regrettable nugget makes no sense outside the mind of its creators. Some apps serve to fill a need in the marketplace, others improve on existing platforms. This app actually does the opposite by transporting you back to 2002 with.... wait for it, low-res animated gifs. I can actually feel myself getting dumber using it. "Thousands of users" is an over generous claim. What I have seen are the same "insta-gifs" featuring the same tired group of friends from Hollywood who are on the Hotspot payroll trying to prop up this app as something cool and exclusive. Staged event locales of no interest are hardly noteworthy compounded by self indulgent, socialite wannabes making the ever classy duck lips equals an awkward app that struggles for relevance. I would recommend downloading AOL's instant Messenger from a floppy disc before recommending this regrettable little app to you.

What’s special about this anyway?? After I installed my phone had to get reset. Not impressed.

This is just another knock off trying to be the next Facebook or snapchat, both of which are supplying live feeds of trending areas around you.
